Well sadly Christmas is over and we had a quiet day sheltering from the sun. Went down to the Subiaco a suburb of Perth to the markets and to buy our 30m lotto ticket and some super strength chemical warfare, well you never know.
Sherryl made Parmesan Crisps- yum
100gm grated parmesan
2 teaspoons of sesame seeds
Mix and place in oven in small rounds (200c) until golden brown
We've been watching the cricket on the TV and Australia seem to be trashing Sri Lanka in Melbourne, so they are pretty happy. Learnt something new about Rod as he sat talking cricket-speak with Sherryl and sounded like he- knew what he was talking about - and this coming from a guy who is usually so sports adverse! must be something about being over here.
Also saw the beginning of the Sydney to Hobart endurance yacht race - it brought back lots of memories of the Global Challenge. A very exciting start and the winner broke his own record again.
We had another BBQ in the evening down at Matilda Bay with some of Sherryl's friends. Another beautiful night, good people, good food and drink and views to die for.
Sunset at Maltilda By - Lightening flashing over the hills, the clouds came our way, but no rain or storm.
