Sunday 20th January
We had another trip down to Clare this morning to use the library
wifi as Burra was closed. Unlike yesterday it was like
an Engish summers day. When we got back to Burra we decided just to finish off our stay by another walk around the town, and see some of the other old buildings - here are some of them.
The Gaol - you would not have like to end up here
| The Town Pub |
I could go on and on with the pictures, the whole place is fascinating and really worth coming to.
| Our cottage - the Pig and Whistle |
| The Front Room |
| The Sitting Room |
| The Conservatory |
| Back Garden |
If you ever get out this way, stay at the Pig and Whistle and enjoy it as much as we have.
We finished our evening sitting outside the cottage watching a flock of pink galahs having racing and speed trials above us. Tomorrow we are moving on sadly, but have enjoyed our time in Burra so much

| Noisy Galahs at sunset |
and the finale - how about this for a sunset
Wow! That's a sunset and a half!
